Took my bike on the 10:30 a.m. bus from Dublin to Virginia, County Cavan on Sunday. Left Virginia at 1 p.m. and headed off on the 60+ mile journey home. Really cold and knackered by the time I reached Dunshaughlin, and with another 25 miles to go, but soldiered on. Have to get a lot more miles in my legs over the next few weeks before I start on the Portugal to Ireland cycle!! The winter inactivity has certainly taken its toll. I did this each way last year (120 miles) without any bother!
